The giant cigarette lamp is a metre-tall, cigarette-shaped LED floor lamp that glows warm from the tip, the piece that went viral on TikTok and now turns up in man caves, gaming rooms and home bars worldwide. Boardsy supplies it from the UK, from £149 in warm orange or £249 in pink, ready to plug in. This guide covers what it is, whether it’s safe, where to buy a real one, and what to pay.
Search the lamp and you’ll mostly find marketplace listings and overseas clone stores, plenty shipping slowly from abroad with a customs charge waiting at the door. Buying from a UK supplier is how you get the real thing, quickly, at a clear price.
What the giant cigarette lamp is
It’s an oversized, cigarette-shaped floor lamp, around 100cm tall, lit by warm LED so it glows like a lit cigarette with no flame and no smoke. It stands on the floor as a proper feature, not a desk gimmick. The Marlboro Cigarette LED Lamp is mains powered and ships ready to use, no assembly.
Why it went viral
The lamp blew up on TikTok as a retro, speakeasy-style statement piece, which is why it now sells globally rather than as a UK novelty. Boardsy ships it to the US, Australia and across Europe, and it’s one of the most-ordered products in the range. That demand is real and current, not a passing fad from a single clip.
Whether it’s safe to leave on
Yes. It’s an LED, so it runs cool and low energy, with no flame, no smoke and nothing burning. Unlike a filament bulb it doesn’t get hot to the touch even after hours on, so it’s fine left glowing all evening. It runs off a standard plug like any floor lamp, with nothing to maintain beyond an occasional wipe.
How to spot a real one versus a cheap clone
The difference is build and supply. A real Marlboro Cigarette LED Lamp is a full metre tall, evenly lit with no dark patches, and supplied with UK support behind it. Many cheap clones ship from overseas marketplaces, arrive smaller than pictured, and vanish if anything’s wrong. Buying from a UK supplier means it turns up fast, at a UK price, with a business you can actually reach.
Warm orange or pink
Two colourways. The warm orange Marlboro Cigarette LED Lamp at £149 is the classic den glow. The pink Barbie Cigarette LED Lamp at £249 is the bolder colour, popular for gaming setups. Same size and shape, different mood, pick on taste and budget.
What it costs and how fast it ships
In GBP with USD and EUR options and worldwide delivery from the UK: orange £149, pink £249. Both are stock items, so there’s no production wait, they ship straight out, which is the advantage over an overseas listing with a long transit and a possible customs charge. Order the Marlboro Cigarette LED Lamp and it leaves the UK.
The bottom line
The giant cigarette lamp is a metre-tall glowing floor lamp, safe to leave on, and a proven global seller. Buy from a UK supplier so it arrives fast and genuine, from £149 in orange or £249 in pink.
